Policy proposals
All Councillors may at any time ask for a new policy to be adopted by the Council. If extra information, over and above that which is to hand, is required to inform the Council on the implications of the policy then the Clerk will normally do the research. The full information is circulated to the whole council for consideration.
How we make decisions.
All decisions are made in full council.
The Finance sub-committee initially considers the calculations for the budget and the precept. The agreed budget is brought to the full Council for discussion and ratification.
The purpose of Sports & Social Club development sub-committee is too facilitate the design process and to liaise with other interested parties. All decisions of substance are referred to the full Council for consideration at the normal council meeting.
Consultations.
Consultation documents are given to the councillor with the special area of responsibility for initial consideration before they are brought to the full council for discussion and ratification.
