What we spend and how we spend it.
Financial information relating to projected and actual income and
expenditure,
The RFO (Clerk) produces a financial report for every council meeting, and it is also sent to all councillors.
The report consists of :
1. a record of of every item of expenditure / income for the current financial year.
2. The income and expenditure is reconciled to the bank statement.
3. a forecast to the end of year.
4. An analysis of the expenditure / income by the budget headings used to in determining the precept.
Tendering, procurement and contracts.
Whenever possible more than one quotation is obtained for any jobs. Unless the work is urgent on health & Safety grounds the decision on whose quotation to accept is taken in full council.
All large scale work will be tendered for as per the Council's financial regulations.
